A delegation from NEPPC and Monaghan Anti Pylon Campaign (MAPC) met with the Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams and elected representatives Caoimhghín O’Caoláin and Peadar Toibín and Councillors Paddy McDonald and Cathy Bennett in Leinster House to request their support on a number of actions:. NEPPC highlighted the consistent support given by Sinn Féin over the last 10 years and the very practical help given in planning meetings with the Belgian Transmission System Operator and the EU Commission.
